عيد مبارك! يسعدنا أن نتقدم إلى جميع أصدقائنا السوريين وجميع أفراد الشعب السوري الكريم بأطيب التمنيات بعيد مبارك يسوده السلام. نتمنى لكم ولأحبائكم السعادة والازدهار بمناسبة عيد الأضحى المبارك. إننا وإذ نستقبل هذا العيد الذي يحمل العديد من الدلالات والمعاني الدينية الهامة، نؤكد التزام الولايات المتحدة بالوقوف إلى جانب الشعب السوري. إننا، معًا، نسعى إلى تحقيق أهدافنا المشتركة لتنفيذ قرار مجلس الأمن الدولي رقم 2254، لضمان العودة الطوعية والآمنة والكريمة للنازحين إلى مدنهم وقراهم في جميع أنحاء سوريا، وإطلاق سراح المعتقلين من سجون نظام الأسد، ومساءلة النظام عن انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان والجرائم التي ارتكبها ضد السوريين. خلال هذا العيد المبارك، يود السفير جيمس جيفري، الممثل الخاص للتواصل في شؤون سوريا، وجويل رايبرن، المبعوث الخاص لشؤون سوريا، وفريق السفارة الأميركية في سوريا، أن يؤكدوا لجميع أفراد الشعب السوري أن حكومة الولايات المتحدة تدعم طموحهم في حياة أفضل، حياة خالية من الظلم والدمار. عيد مبارك.Eid Mubarak! We are pleased to extend to all our Syrian friends and all the generous Syrian people a blessed and peaceful Eid. Wishing you and your loved ones happiness and prosperity on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha. As we receive this holiday which carries many significant indications and meanings of faith, we confirm the commitment of the United States to stand with the Syrian people. Together we seek to achieve our common goals to implement UN Security Council Resolution 2254, to ensure the voluntary, safe and dignified return of the displaced to their cities and villages throughout Syria, the release of detainees from the Assad regime’s prisons and accountability for the regime’s human rights abuses and crimes against Syrians. During these blessed holidays, Ambassador James Jeffrey, Special Representative for Syrian Engagement, Joel Rayburn, Special Envoy for Syria and the U.S. Embassy Syria team, would like to assure all the Syrian people the U.S. Government stands by their aspiration for a better life, one that is free of oppression and destruction.
